Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number N61339-01-T-0095 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This solicitation shall be awarded on a competitive basis to the responsible offeror submitting the lowest bid. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 235990. The following item is required: CLIN 0001 18' x 18' Vertical Lift Door Including Installation, Qty. 1. Delivery/installation shall be no later than 31 October, 2001 with acceptance upon completed installation. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Requirements for the door are 50PSI windload, R21 insulation value, operated with industrial electric motor, manual operation shall be provided, installation to include wiring from Government 277/480 VAC 4 wire disconnect located near door, wiring shall be to NEC code. Safety equipment shall include safety edge to prevent damaging obstructions, failure of any componenet shall keep door from closing. Installation in Building SP-366 shall include door tracks, support operating hardware, electric door operator, all other hardware required for proper installation. Motor and track shall be mounted as to not interfere with existing sprinkler system. Work shall not impact training and off shift hours and weekends may be required. Opening must be secured when unattended. Storage of equipment on site shall be coordinated with the Government representative. Site shall be kept in an orderly condition. The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3 ALTERNATE I, 52.212-4, 52.212-5 (Dev), 52.232-33, 252.204-7001, and 252.204-7004. The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-5(b) apply: (12) through (16) and (22). The following subparagraphs of FAR 52.212-5(c) apply: None. The following clause of DFARS 252.212-7001 applies: 252.225-7001. A COMPLETED COPY OF THE FOLLOWING MUST BE INCLUDED WITH THE QUOTE: FAR 52.212-3 AND DFARS 252.212-7000. The DPAS rating for this solicitation is N/A. See CBD numbered Note 22 (45 days is changed to read 15 days).
