Description

This requirement is for acquisition of two (2) each Multiplexer, NSN 5895-01-419-9736SO, part number 8-688-08 applicable to the AC-130U aircraft. This requirement includes two option items, Option 1 for five (5) each and Option 2 for two (2) each Multiplexer. This requirement is restricted to Eldec Corp/Lynwood WA, the only known qualified source, pursuant to negotiation authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). See Notes 8,22 and 26. The required delivery schedule is Nov 2002 for the basic quantity of two (2) each with delivery of 330 days after exercise of the options for Options 1 and 2. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contacting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
