L-33 PREPROPOSAL CONFERENCE AND SITE VISITS a. NOT LATER THAN 04 Sep 01, offerors must notify, 48th CONS/LGCR, in writing of the names and social security numbers of individuals who will participate in the site visits and/or preproposal conference. Due to space limitations, a maximum of two (2) persons are allowed per firm. [Written requests may be telefaxed via (011441638527202 or E-mailed to James.SeChrist@Lakenheath.af.mil] Each offeror is responsible for all costs related to travel to and from the sites and transportation arrangements as none will be furnished by the Government. b. Social Security Numbers. The government requires that all visiting personnel to a federal installation be allowed access in accordance with the associated security requirements. The government requests this information under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 8013. In the event contractors do not provide this information, site access shall not be granted. c. The site visit will be held on 06 Sep 2001 local time at 0900 at the 48th CRS PMEL located at RAF Feltwell. Following the tour of the PMEL facility a preproposal conference will be held at 48th CONS, Bldg. 55, RAF Feltwell, UK. d. Reliance upon answers to questions asked at PMEL locations is done at the offeror's own risk. Questions should be formally submitted to the Contracting Officer. e. Questions concerning this solicitation are requested. Advance written questions should be submitted under separate cover clearly marked as "Advance Questions" with the solicitation number and be mailed to arrive at 48th CONS/LGCR, Attn TSgt SeChrist (response by E-mail to TSgt SeChrist is acceptable and encouraged), not later than 04 Sep 2001. f. Remarks and explanations at the conference shall not alter the terms and conditions of the solicitation unless the solicitation is formally amended. Any oral statements by Government representatives shall not be binding upon the Government; all necessary changes will be made by the Contracting Officer in writing. If an offeror discovers discrepancies or omissions in any portion of the solicitation, the matter should be reduced to writing and provided to the Contracting Officer not later than.
