Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking a qualified organization or individual to provide the services of a Dental Assistant at the Federal Prison Camp in Alderson, West Virginia. The contractor will be required to provide five (5) sessions per week. Each session will be six (6) hours in duration for an estimated maximum of 30 hours per week. The contractor must be registered in the state of West Virginia as a Certified Dental Assistant and have experience as a Dental Assistant. The contractor will be responsible for providing chairside assistance, performing routine evaluations, assisting with dental surgery, preparing dental equipment for sterilization, assisting in maintaining dental equipment, ordering supplies, setting up appointments, maintaining dental records, and general assistance in the dental lab. This contract is a total small business set-aside. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Non-Personal Services Requirements Contract. The contract will run from date of award through September 30, 2002. The contract will be awarded utilizing simplified acquisition procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. The estimated availability of this solicitation is August 31, 2001. Faxed or telephone quotations will not be considered. The solicitation will not be available electronically.
