Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex intents to contract for the following, on board a Government vessel: Removal of existing coatings and installation of Stratica Tile in accordance with Preservation Process Instruction (PPI) NBR: 63421-002 Rev 00; Provide all coatings and materials required; Contractor is responsible for QA inspections by NACE Session I certified or equivalent personnel; Contractor will be required to provide air for prepping/painting surfaces. Area being covered: Athwartship Passageway (Fr 61), Dry Provision Storeroom, Crews Mess Deck and Passageway (500 SF): U/L Passageway (65 SF) Control Room/Attack Center (325 SF), Sonar Control (55 SF), Nav Equipment (58 SF) Ships Office (32 SF), M/L Passageway (185 SF), Officers Passageway (40 SF), Storekeepers Office (175 SF), Torpedo Room (160 SF), Engineers Office (22 SF), L/L Passageway (67 SF), and Aux Machinery Room (25 SF). Period of Performance: Project must be completed on or before 19 October 2001. Location will be Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA. This requirement will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS class is 23543 and the small business size standard is $7.M. Closing date for receipt of offers will be 04 September 2001.
