Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 20001213. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 4961. Small business size standard is 750. NAICS is 333415. This acquisition is for Brand Name or equal items and is a 100% small business set aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (The award will be less than $100,000) will be followed. This Brand Name or equal purchase will be for a total of Five (5) Data-Aire Environmental Control Units, One (1) DART-200 Software Package, Five (5) Remote Site DART Boards, and Five (5) Network Communication Cards for plug-in installation to each Data Alarm II Control panel. The Data-Aire Environmental Control Units are: One (1) DACD-1134 Unit and Four (4) DACD-2634 Units. Salient characteristics for the One (1) DACD-1134 Unit follows: Chilled water, 11 nominal tons, 460 volts, 3-way water control valve. Downflow configuration with seismic floorstand, Nortec canister humidifier, electric heat, data alarm processor II w/80 character backlit display for temperature, humidity, unit alarm status and alarm condition displays. Main power disconnect switch, condensate probe and alarm, 30% X 4" filter, standard one year parts warranty. Salient characteristics for the Four (4) DACD-2634 Units follows: Environmental Control Unit, chilled water, 25 nominal tons, 460 volts, 3-way water control valve, Downflow configuration with seismic floorstand, Nortec canister humidifier, electric heat, data alarm processor II w/80 character backlit display for temperature, humidity, unit alarm status and alarm condition displays. Main power disconnect switch, condensate probe and alarm, 30% X 4" filter, standard one year parts warranty. All interested parties who believe they can meet this requirement are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the Five (5) Data-Aire Environmental Control Units listed above, the One (1) DART-200 Software Package, the Five (5) Remote Site DART Boards, and the Five (5) Network Communication Cards for plug-in installation to each Data Alarm II Control Panel. Such information should include cost proposal information for providing the Five (5) Data-Aire Environmental Control Units, the One (1) DART-200 Software Package, the Five (5) Remote Site DART Boards and Five (5) Network Communication Cards for plug-in installation to each Data Alarm II Control panel and the cost of shipping. FOB Destination is the Government preferred method of shipping. EAFB is requesting the Data-Aire Brand Name purchase to reduce potential complications with existing equipment and the need to purchase additional spare parts. Data-Aire equipment is currently utilized in the Integrated Facility for Avionics Testing (IFAST). As such, the requested Data-Aire equipment is compatible with the STAFA control system currently utilized by IFAST. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements required in this synopsis.
