Description

NSN: 5340-01-333-2043, APN: 406-310-103-103, Quantity: 200 ea. This action is applicable to the OH-58D Airframe Unit T-703. Shipment will be FOB destination Texarkana, TX. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DOD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DOD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. The approved businesses are Shur-Lok Corp, 2541 White Road, P.O. Box 19584, Irvine, CA 92623 and Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc, 600 East Hurst Blvd, Hurst, TX 76053. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.Redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
