NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE ? The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) facility in Morgantown, WV will be conducting an ergonomic studies which involve a simulated office of six workstations with two computers in each station. To provide added backup, the government needs a total of eights sets of data acquisition cards for use in an intranet with other computers having the same cards. Extensive LABVIEW software has already been written for NI-DAQ interface cards. Therefore, the government intends to order the following compatible items from National Instruments, Austin, TX on a sole source basis: (1) #777514-01, PCI-6031E and NI-DAQ for WIN 2000/NT/ME/9X and MAC OS, 2 EACH; (2) #182853-01 SH 100100 shielded cable 1M, 10 EACH; (3) #776990-01 SCB-100 Shielded I/O Connector Block, 10 EACH; (4) #777516-01 PCI-6033E and NI-DAQ for WIN 2000/NT/ME/9X and MAC OS, 8 EACH; (5) #778026-01 PCI-6035E and NI-DAQ for WIN 2000/NE/ME/9X and MAC OS, 8 EACH; (6) #182482-01, R6868 Ribbon Cable, 1M, 8 EACH; and (7) #777145-01, CB-68LP, I/O Connector Block, 8 EACH. Organizations who believe they can provide the required NI-DAQ interface cards may respond within 7 days after publication of this notice. Responses shall be submitted to: Brenda L.
