Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI) to acquire the following service: Development of an educational curriculum/course directed specifically to hospitals that reprocess and reuse single use devices (SUDs) on their Regulatory Responsibilities. After the course is developed the contractor will commit to offering the course (for fee) 5 or 6 times in various geographic locations through out the country. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirements shall submit written quotations by the due date referenced above. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for this requirement. Evaluation/Award will be based on the acceptable quote that offers the best value to the government. The award will be made on a sole basis because the contractor has a well-developed course that it offers geared for original equipment manufacturers and others.
