Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs plans to contract with Radiological Service Training Institute for a term license agreement for the period 10/1/01 through 9/30/03. The license is for making unlimited copies of the manuals entitled "Principles of Servicing Diagnostic X-Ray Systems," "Advanced Radiographic Systems Maintenance," and "Advanced Fluoroscopic Systems Maintenance," to be used in Veterans Affairs classes taught at the Employee Education Service in North Little Rock, Arkansas. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Radiological Service Training Institute, 30745 Solon Road, Cleveland, OH 44139, under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
