Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/service prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F09609-01-Q-0027 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-18. Dobbins Air Reserve Base, (Marietta) Georgia is soliciting for the acquisition of Enhanced Fire Officer IV Training. CLIN 0001: Twenty five (25) each Enhanced Fire Officer IV Training not later than 30 Sep 02 at Nellis AFB NV. CLIN 0002: Twenty five (25) each Enhanced Fire Officer IV Training not later than 30 Sep 02 at Ramstein AB GE. CLIN 0003: Twenty five (25) each Enhanced Fire Officer IV Training not later than 30 Sep 02 at Dobbins ARB GA. CLIN 0004: Twenty five (25) each Enhanced Fire Officer IV Training not later than 30 Sep 02 at AF Academy, Colo Springs CO. Period of performance shall be no later than 30 Sep 02. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this procurement is 8299; size standard $3.5. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside and will follow simplified acquisition procedures in FAR Part 13. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, shall apply along with Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Evaluation of quotes will be in accordance with FAR clause 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, and based on price and technical evaluation of product information furnished with the quote. Quotes shall include a completed copy of FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, shall apply with addenda DFARS 252.232-7009, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (CCR). Far clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, shall be incorporated into any contract resulting from this notice. Applicable clauses cited in 52.212-5 are 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.225-3 and 52.222-41, as well as Department of Labor Wage Determination 94-2133 (Rev 18) dated 09/14/2000.
