J, VALVE ASSEMBLY, In Repair/Modification of, NSN 7R-4820-99-553-1837-BC, Ref Nr 5549C000-003 Qty 8 EA, Delivery FOB Origin, RFQ Due Date O/A SEP 21 01,THE CONTEMPLATED ACTION IS THE ACQUISITION OF REPAIR SERVICES FOR:Qty 8 EA, Valve Assembly; NSN 7RH 4820-99-553-1837 BC; (U1605) Part Number 5549C000-003. This is a Safety-of-Flight/Mission-Critical component of the pilot's and radar system's ventilation and air conditioning of the AV-8BII+ Harrier aircraft. The USDoD does not have repair shop manuals for this item.Repairable units must be delivered, repaired and ready-for-issue, within forty-five(45) days of receipt for repair. Interested parties are directed to consult with the designer, manufacturer, and current qualified repair contractor, Honeywell-Normalair Garrett, Bournemouth, England, to determine availability of drawings or manuals; or, subcontracting opportunities. New supplier would be subject to First Article Testing i.a.w. system drawings and specifications. See Notes 22,25,26
