Description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), requires assistance to assess the need for a FHWA/DOT "Center of Excellence". This center would serve as a multi-partner clearinghouse for assistance, information, and education on rural development and transportation. Award of a purchase order will be made to the responsible offeror who offer conforming to the Statement of Work and evaluation criteria is most advantageous to the Government. This requirement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside and the NACIS code is 541990 and the small business size standard is $5 million annual average gross revenue for the last 3 fiscal years. THE SOLICITATION AND ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS AND AMENDMENTS, IF ANY, WILL ONLY BE RELEASED AND AVAILABLE ELECTRONICALLY THROUGH THE ELECTRONIC POSTING SYSTEM (EPS) UNDER FEBBIZOPPS at www.eps.gov. Choose the "EPS for Vendors" option followed by selection of the DOT section. The solicitation and related documents will be posted under RFQ number DTFH61-01-Q-00169. NO WRITTEN, TELEPHONIC, FACSIMILE, OR E-MAIL REQUESTS will be honored. Interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements by e-mail. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it is the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the EPS (FebBizOpps) website for any solicitation amendments. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer. Offers are due SEPTEMBER 13, 2001. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the threshold is $100,000.
