Description

Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, intends to procure optometry services for the Naval Medical Center, San Diego, California. The SIC is 8042; the NAICS is 621320, Small Business Size Standard $5million. Period of performance will be from 01 October 2001 (approximately) through 30 September 2002 with four one year option periods. The resulting contract will be commercial firm-fixed price. The estimated quantities are forty hours of services per week. Services include, but are not limited to, all aspects of comprehensive primary care optometry, preoperative and postoperative management of refractive surgery patients, routine and specialty contact lens care, and participation in clinical research. This solicitation is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted by about August 31, 2001 on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web site. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to independently review the referenced web link frequently for updates to any and all documents. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). The Government will not issue paper copies of these documents.
