Description

This Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial items is being processed in accordance wit the format in Subpart 12.6. It is being issued as an RFQ using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) authorized in Subpart 13.5, Testing Program for Certain Commercial Items. Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma WA intends to establish a firm-fixed price purchase order for various sizes of Hyspan expansion joints. The NAICS code is 3329999 with a size standard of 500 employees. This quote is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The RFQ will be available on or about 22 August 2001 with an anticipated closing date of 31 August 2001. Requests for copies of the RFQ shall be submitted in writing and requested electronically via email from Kathleen.Benjamin@nw.amedd.army.mil or via facsimile (253-968-4922). The request should include business name, point of contact, complete address, telephone number, RFQ number, business size, tax identification number, and Dun & Bradstreet number. Telephonic requests will not be honored. Firms offering in response to the notice should ensure registration in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to submission for consideration. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
