Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Cotton Programs, plans to procure or lease up to 30 High Volume Instrumentation Systems and maintenance, for one of the cotton classing offices which is yet to be determined for the 2002 cotton classing season. This is a sole source procurement. A contract will be negotiated with Zellweger Uster, Knoxville, Tennessee. This procurement will be awarded FOB destination, firm fixed price. All effort shall be completed and all reports delivered in time for the 2002 cotton classing season. The solicitation is to be released on or about September 25, 2001. Proposals are due by 2:30 pm local time on October 12, 2001. from the expected sole source, but other who believe they have a comparable and operational product may also submit a proposal for consideration.
