- Description
- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation/RFQ , quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 01SQ308320 is issued as a Request for quote (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect thought Federal Acquisition circular 97-24. This solicitation is issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is set aside 100% for small business. North American Industry Classification System Classification is 111421 and the Business Size Standard is .5 Million Dollar gross income averaged over three years. The Bureau of Reclamation has a firm fixed price requirement for the following trees, to be planted March /April of next year(2002), in the sizes indicated: Populus Freemonti (Freemont Cottonwood): 6910 -- 1 Gallon, 30 -- 5 Gallon Salix Goodingii (Gooding Willow): 17,310 -- 1 Gallon Salix exigua (coyote willow): 4,500 -- 1 Gallon Prosobis glandulosa (honey mesquite): 744 -- 1 Gallon P. pubescens (screwbean mesquite): 3,330 -- 1 Gallon Cercidium floridum ( blue palo verde): 30 -- 1 Gallon C. microphyllum (foothills palo verde): 30 -- 1 Gallon Frazinus Velutina (ash): 500 -- 1 Gallon Requirements: -All cottonwood and willow trees must be form stock originally collected form the lower Colorado River or its tributaries (Bill Williams River and lower Gila River). A statement to this effect must be received by the Bureau of reclamation along with each bid. -500 P.glandulosa, 3000 P. Pubescens, and 500 F. velutina will be from stock obtained from Ash Meadows NWR. Seeds and/or cuttings will be sent to vendor from the Refuge upon award of this contract. A statement form the vendor to Ash Meadows NWR attesting that the plants delivered to Ash Meadows NWR are from the specific seed supplied will be required upon delivery of plants. -Price per tree must include all shipping charges. -Venor must be able to ship to various location s as far noth a Pahranagate NWR in southern Nevada ans as far soun as Yuma, Arizona. -The total shipment to each separate location must arrive within no more than 2 days. Number ans species of trees to each location will be provided to vendor by reclamation well in advance of the date required.. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to the acquisition: 52.212-03, Offeror Representation and Certifications -- Commercial Items (Oct99) Offerors must include with their offer a completed copy of FAR 52.212-03; 52.212-04, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (May99); Clause 52.2212-05, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues of Executive Orders -- Commercial item (May99).
