Description

The United States Department of the Interior (DOI), Minerals Management Service (MMS), Minerals Revenue Management (MRM), intends to acquire non-personal professional services to modify one subsystem and one subsystem application under the customized Integrated Document Management System (IDMS) software program. Services include modifying the Document Imaging Subsystem (DIS) to change Document Control Numbers; and the Solid Minerals Imaging and Electronic Storage Subsystem (SMIESS) application to add new document, columns, fields and Solid Lease Agreement Workload (SLAW) database application. Based on information available at this time, the Government considers the services described above to be available only from SER Solutions, Inc., 555 Herndon Parkway, Herndon, Virginia 22170. The IDMS system and the DIS and SMIESS subsystems were customized and developed on OTG Software, Inc.'s ViewStar software. SER Solutions, Inc. previously DoxSys, Inc. customized the applications for MMS and is the only authorized re-seller and modifier of OTG Software, Inc. ViewStar proprietary software for the Federal Government. Delivery for part one is October 1, 2001, for part two within 30 days of award. Offerors who feel that they can provide these services may submit, in writing, information about their company or request a copy of the solicitation. The written request (including a telephone number for a point of contact) is due within fifteen calendar days from the date of this synopsis.
