Description

Non-personal services for the handling, removal and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste primarily from U.S. Geological Survey facilities within the Denver Federal Center, Denver, Colorado and other USGS locations as required. Specifications include but not limited to inventorying, tracking, reporting, analyzing, treating, packaging, transportation, disposal, site characterization and remediation, research of hazardous/non-hazardous materials and waste, asbestos and industrial waste, biological waste and sediment materials, emergency spill services, as well as preparation of permits, documents, and other materials used in complying with environmental regulations governing the use and possession of hazardous/non-hazardous materials and wastes. Basic contract with three twelve month option years. Notification of competition (100%)limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. Offers from concerns that are not certified as 8(a) by the Small Business Administration will not be considered. All responsible 8(a)'s may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the USGS. Written requests for the RFP must be submitted either by U.S. mail, e-mail or fax at (303) 236-5859 and must contain the RFP number and requester's name, full address and telephone number. Telephone requests for the RFP will not be accepted. Estimated release date of RFP o/a October 22, 2001.
