Description

This is a solicitation for commercial items. The award will be made using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5. This solicitation, No. DAHA72-01-Q-0019, is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). Proposed acquisition will be by firm, fixed price contract. The solicitation is for the installation of an integrated intrusion/access control system with closed circuit TV at two National Guard Armories on St. Thomas and St. Croix, Virgin Islands. At this time we anticipate a sole source purchase order to Alarmco Electronic Security System because of a need for compatibility with existing systems and maintenance requirements. The government intends to award based on price and technical capability to meet our requirements. The government reserves the right to award a purchase order without discussions. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-25. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621 and the size standard is $9 million. Offeror shall provide a completed copy of FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. Selection will be made in accordance with FAR Part 13, Subpart 13.106-2 Evaluation of Quotations or Offers. The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; 52.232-33, Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment; and DFAR 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration.
