WA FS ERFO 97(2)-21(1), FDR 29, 2923, Olympic National Forest, Clallam County, Washington. Initial notice posted to Commerce Business Daily CBDNet on August 8, 2001, and printed issue date on August 13, 2001. BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION AS A HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Presolicitation notices are being sent to firms on this agency's mailing list concurrently with the publication of this synopsis. The work consists of grading, drainage, base, paving, and retaining wall at six sites. The project consists of construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; temporary traffic control; 350 m silt fence; 3 ha clearing & grubbing; 10,000 cu m excavation & embankment; 5,000 sq m earthwork geotextiles; 22,000 cu m rock borrow; 50 cu m riprap; 30 cu m gabions; 2,000 ton minor crushed aggregate; 200 ton minor hot asphalt concrete; 1 concrete headwall; 90 m culverts; 15 m underdrains; 10 slry units seeding & mulching; and other smaller items of work. Work shall be completed by November 15, 2002. Estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance, and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000.
