Description

Z-010008 -- The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to provide security upgrades at the Naval Reserve Center, Watertown, NY. The work includes removing the existing perimeter fence and gates and providing new fence and gates, providing new perimeter security lighting in the back of the building and providing new security bars on the existing basement windows and other incidental related work. The issue date for plans and specifications is 4 September 2001. Estimated cost range: Between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code is 235990 and the size standard is $7.0 million. The solicitation will be issued Unrestricted. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7), availability of the solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Plans and specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Downloading from the Internet is free of charge, however, some plans and specifications will take a considerable amount of time to download. All prospective offerors are encouraged to register on the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Electronic Solicitation website for this project when plans and specifications become available.
