Descriptive literature should include product data sheets, product quality, reliability, company point of contact, and pricing information. Inert product samples, though not required, are also encouraged. Desired system parameters: 1) Completely interrupt the electrical connectivity from 18 AWG to #6 AWG insulated copper wire solid core, stranded or braided copper electrical wire within a 1 second duration. 2) Tool should be able to be inserted by hand through a 4 inch by 4 inch opening 3) External components must be non-conductive (this can accomplished through proper coating) 4) Tool may either be delivered explosively preloaded or field loaded. 5) Other desired characteristics weigh under 5 lbs. Inert product samples, though not required, are also encouraged. The data collected from this market research effort will be utilized to understand commercially available items' ability to meet the projected needs. Desired system parameters do not necessarily represent the minimum acceptable capabilities.
