Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-01-Q-0309 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 as well as DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 332439 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 121 each ML25 weapon containers to be refurbished in accordance with statement of work. Statement of work and drawings are available for downloading in PDF Format via www. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 120 days after award. Final inspection will be at contractors facility. The government intends to award this action on a sole-source basis (see numbered Note 22) to Armor Metal Group, 1200 Clifty Drive, Madison, IN 47250 if they and the government come to an agreement on all applicable terms and conditions. This includes, but is not limited to the government determining the price and price related factors to be fair and reasonable. Selection for award will be based on past performance, price and price-related factors. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
