Description

This is a combined synopis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only synopsis; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. RFQ1C-31 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Library of Congress has a requirement to purchase the following equipment: 1. Bar Code Scanner, SYM-201656101 Symbol Intellistand LS 400X/Fire, Symbol Technologies LS 4006I barcode scanners with symbol PC adapter, Symbol synapse cable -- 65 each; 2. Symbol LS4006I-I100-1400Z barcode scanners with symbol PC adapter and synapse cable -- 35 each. Standard 24 months warranty is required. Delivery of by September 21, 2001 after receipt of award. FOB: Destination; Library of Congress/Receiving Unit, Landover Center Annex, 1701 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD 20785. The following provisisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items, 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Condition -- Commercial Items, 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items. Under this clause the following clauses have been modified by the Library of Congress: 52.233-1 Disputes, 52.232-25 Prompt Payment. Quotation MUST BE IN WRITING, may be faxed on company letterhead or (fax) 202-707-8611 no late than September 17, 2001.
