Description

DESC: Sterilization Tank for Seedling Growing Containers, Coeur d Alene Nursery, Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Kootenai County, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation R1-04-01-81 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 339111. A quotation is requested for one (1) line item. LINE ITEM 1, One Sterilization Tank for Seedling Growing Containers. Minimum requirements include: hydraulically powered 60 inches x 72 inches x 45 inches capacity tank with natural gas, venturi immersion heater with 200,000 btus per hour capacity. 115 volt electrical power with a 2-inch ball valve drain. Shall include temperature monitor gauge. Stainless steel construction and includes one set of block baskets. All delivery costs should be included in the quotation. Required delivery no later than September 28, 2001 to: Coeur d Alene Nursery, ATTN: Kent Eggleston, 3600 Nursery Road, Coeur d Alene, ID, 83815. The contract award will be offered to the best value offer made to the Government, considering price and technical specifications. Offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
