Description

DESC: Seeder, Coeur d Alene Nursery, Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Kootenai County, Idaho. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation R1-04-01-85 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 333111. A quotation is requested for one (1) line item. LINE ITEM 1, PRECISION FORESTRY SEEDER- for up to 9 deep x 18-inches wide blocks, with adjustable tray height/width. belt drive, PLC controlled, electric/pneumatic Operation, retro-reflective eye, automatic tray indexing, dibble mechanism, needle cleaner, grit dispenser moved to take off conveyor, self contained air hose holding tank for increased vacuum output, 110v/single phase, and controls, includes component package for one standard plug tray and kit of 9 different needles sizes. Includes 10-foot long, 10-inch belt, adjustable legs, 110v single phase, variable speed and controls, Two 10-inch semi-pneumatic tires with adjustable rails entire length of conveyor, and with vibrating grit dispenser mounted on this conveyor providing observation/supplemental manual seedling capability; auto electric eye, conveyor to be integrated with and to run with seeder. Seeder must fit blocks of oversized lengths and widths. Includes: dibble bar with pins, needle bar with needle holders and seeding bar with drop tubes; blocks to include the 160 cell styrofoam block, 91 cell styrofoam block, 112 styrofoam block, and the 240 styrofoam block each with it's appropriate needle bar and holders.. All delivery costs should be included in the quotation. Include in your quotation a detailed explanation for the product that will be provided. The contract award will be offered to the best value offer made to the Government, considering price and technical specifications. Offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
