Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is M6786501T0169 the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. This purchase is set-aside 100% for small business, the associated NAICS code is 442291 Retail Window Treatment Stores, the associated SIC Code is 5719 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. CLIN 0001, measure, fabricate and install canvas awning on the interior wall of the patio area in Gonzales Hall dining Facility at MCAS Miramar. The material for the awnings is Glen Raven Mills, Inc. Sunbrella Firesist Fancy Stripe Style #8705 Hemlock Tweed Fancy Stripe. A site visit will be conducted at 0900 Wednesday, September 12, 2001. The site visit will commence with a meeting of prospective offerors at Bldg 7208, MCAS Miramar G4 Logistics Conference room. All prospective offerors must attend the site visit to be considered for this award. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
