Description

Notice of Intent to issue a noncompetitive award for Mineral Separation and U/Pb Age Analysis to the Department of Geology, University of Idaho, Moscow, ID. The Department has the expertise, experience and resources necessary to furnish this work in support of the USGS Ketchikan Precambrian and Triassic VMS project. The Department is the only known source with the facilities and personnel required to perform the rock sample crushing and mineral separation isotopic analysis. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Determination to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable NAICS is 541710 and 500 employee size standard. No additional synopsis will be published. See Numbered Note 22.
