Description

Negotiations will be conducted with West Virginia University to determine the in vitro genotoxic activities of organic solvent extracted and surfactant-solubilization prepared samples of diesel, gasoline and natural gas engine exhaust PM2.5, using the salmonella histidine reversion assay for mutagenicity, the mammalian cell micronucleus induction assay for chromosomal damage, the single cell gel elecrtophoresies single- and double-strand break assay for DNA damage, and proto-oncogene activation and mutation assays, to develop information on source terms for occupational exposures to genotoxicant exhaust products.
