Description

It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure on a sole source basis from Verizon, Washington, DC for Teloquent software system upgrade. Teloquent is a proprietary software system that NLM has been using for our telephone customer service for several years, and we are planning to upgrade our existing system to a completely new version, which requiring reprogramming the system profiling and replacing some of the server hardware at the same time. Verizon is the only authorized dealer for Teloquent and there are no other authorized resellers for the Teloquent system or services. The proposed acquisition will be procured under FAR Part 12 -- Commercial Items. This notice of intent is not a Request For Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available, however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the NLM. Firms interested in responding to this notice must be able to provide professional service as stated above. Responses should sufficiently demonstrate the firm's ability to meet the government's requirements. Responses are required within fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this notice.
