Description

The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure tariffed and=20 non-tariffed, recurring telephone services in support of Base Communications=20 Office (BCO) Pensacola, Florida; BCO Whiting Field, Milton, Florida; BCO=20 Memphis, Tennessee; BCO Meridian, Mississippi; BCO Corpus Christi, Texas; BCO=20 Kingsville, Texas; BCO Ingleside, Texas; and BCO Fort Worth, Texas from their=20 respective regional telephone companies pursuant to the Basic Agreements issued=20 by the Defense Communications Agency. The class of acquisitions covered by this=20 synopsis include FTS 2000 overflow monthly long distance service, 800 service,=20 interstate/intralata special access line charges, and outside cable plant=20 leases and support service for the BCO's previously listed. The proposed=20 acquisitions are being processed on an other than full and open competitive=20 basis pursuant to FAR 6.301 for performance during Fiscal Year 2002. The=20 proposed action will result in multiple firm fixed price task orders under the=20 DCA agreements [DCA200-96-H-0069 (Bell South), DCA200-96-H-0011 (Central=20 Telephone), DCA200-93-H-0018 (AT&T), DCA200-96-H-0098 (Gulf Telephone), DCA200-96-H-0023 (Millington Telephone Service), DCA200-96-H-0041 (Southwestern=20 Bell Telephone), DCA200-92-H-0068 (GTE Southwest), and DCA200-97-H-0015 (Valley=20 Telephone Company)]. The suppliers referenced along with each DCA agreement=20 are the only firms capable of providing the above-described services in their=20 respective geographic regions. All interested parties should respond outlining=20 their capability to provide the required services along with documented evidence of their company's authorization to provide the service/s under the=20 appropriate regional agreement/s. In order to be considered, responses must be=20 received within fifteen (15) days after publication of this notice.
