Description

This is not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5, but Market Research survey to identify sources that can fulfill the requirements for the Environmental Support Services for the Base Operations Office (Environmental Operations Office) and the Aircraft Environmental Support Office (AESO) located at the Naval Air Depot, North Island. This is a follow-on acquisition to contract number N00244-97-D-5087, Time and Material, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract with BENMOL CORPORATION. The solicitation resulting in the award of the aforementioned contract was advertised as a 100% small business set-aside with an assigned Standard Industry Code (SIC) of 8711. (SIC 8711 has been replaced by NAICS code 541330). For the follow-on acquisition, AESO has expanded the scope of the current contract, to include broader performance sites on a Navy-wide basis at var ious Naval bases in the continental US as well as US Naval bases overseas and other DOD facilities. Specific tasks will be assigned through individual task orders. Services will include engineering, analytical, and technical support services. Tasks will require knowledge, skills, and experience of the following labor categories: (1) Project Manager, (2) Senior Environmental Engineer/Scientist, (3) Environmental Engineer/Scientist, (4) Senior Software System Analyst, (5) Computer Programmer, (6) Senior Mechanical Engineer/Scientist, (7) Mechanical Engineer/Scientist, (8) Industrial Hygienist, (9) Senior Chemical Engineer/Scientist, (10) Chemical Materials Engineer, (11) Certified Energy Manager, (12) Engineering Technician, (13) Technical Illustrator, (14) Technical Writer, (15) Word Processing/Publications Specialist, (16) Data Entry clerk. A Statement of Need (SON) is available from the Contracting Officer. All parties are invited to access and review the SON. Interested parties are reminded that the SON will be converted to a Statement of Work (SOW) and may include information resulting from the market survey as determined by the Contracting Officer to be beneficial for the services required by AESO. No solicitati on is available at this time. Based on responses received from this market survey, this acquisition may continue to be solicited as a 100% small business set aside. The proposed NAICS code is 541330 with a size standard of $20.0 million applies.
