Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, New Jersey (NAWCAD-LKE) intends to procure on a sole source basis a (CMPro)Configuration Management Program, part number CMPro FE PSA v2.25 (PSA-CMPFE-2201) for use on the F/A-18. The CMPro provides an electronic means of reviewing and approving Engineering Investigations (EI), software change requests, software change proposals and engineering change proposals. The CMPro stores all EI's, test workaround procedures, Master Test Program Set Index cards, and software change data. It provides historical reports for configuration tracking of end items. Professional Systems Associates, Inc. is the only company with the requisite expertise and technical data to provide the CMPro software. The Government is anticipating a Firm Fixed Price contract. The required delivery is September 28, 2001. The CMPro will be packaged in accordance with best commercial practices. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ. The Government does not have the data rights. It would not be cost effective or possible for the Government to provide to another contractor, the data that pertains to the CMPro or the knowledge and experience that resides at Professional Systems Associates Inc. Firms that recognize and can possibly produce these items are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive proposal. A determination based on the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
