Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Raytheon Electronic Systems, Portsmouth, RI for AN/AQS-22 Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS). This procurement will be issued as a delivery order from Basic Ordering Agreement N68335-01-G-0385 (pending). The required procurement is in support of the SH-60R Multi-Mission Helicopter Systems and Subsystems. The Government does not hold any proprietary rights to any drawing or specification to the ALFS system. NAWCADLKE intends to procure this item under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (C) (1), as implemented in FAR 6.302-1. No solicitation package is available for this procurement. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. SEE NUMBER Notes 22
