Description

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for 15 Mini-Aerocam Cold Gas Thruster Valves. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. See the attached Statement of Work and Graphic for detailed requirements. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery of 15 units to JSC is required by December 31, 2001. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by 9/24/01 and may be mailed or faxed to Atten: Jon Wood, 2101 NASA Rd 1, Houston, TX 77058, or fax at 281-244-5331, and include, solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 336419 and 1000 employees, respectively. The DPAS Rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The quote due date is 9/24/01. Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing no later than 9/14/01. Selection and award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable quoter. Technical acceptability will be determined by information submitted by the quoter providing a description in sufficient detail to show that the product quoted meets the Government's requirement. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
