Description

Digital Reconnaissance Surveillance and Target Acquisition (DRSTA) Sources Sought In preparation for possible release of a competitive solicitation, the Government is seeking sources capable of providing all hardware, software, integration and testing during an 18 month System Development and Demonstration effort intended to enhance the capabilities of the current Army Lightweight Video Reconnaissance System (LVRS). DRSTA will be a product improvement to LVRS that will add a midpoint-computing node between the current LVRS outstation and base station. This Mission Support Site (MSS) will consist of a small, handheld computer with image processing capabilities of JPEG, NITFS images and digital messages, and all cabling necessary to interface to various HF, VHF, and UHF radios. The contractor should have experience with Army classified intelligence programs, radio systems and protocols, image processing and system integration of ruggedized military products. The contractor will also be responsible for performing modifications to the current LVRS base station to allow for interconnection to the Army's All Source Analysis System (ASAS).
