Description

The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute intends to purchase a Fiber Optic Gating System and components manufactured by MedRad Inc. The item to be purchased is: one (1) each of product #MRE 3005347, Model 9500 Multigas Monitor, with the following configuration: English language, 115 volts (Domestic), Battery Pack with charger, Standard Fox Module, (1) one each of Finger/Toe Clip, and (1) one each of Pediatric Toe Clip, (15) fifteen foot Sensor Extension Cable, 9500 is mounted on a stand, Capnography with anesthetic agents, includes ECG gating, and ECG System Cable to go along with the Siemens scanner, includes a MedRad printer model #3005856, Invasive blood pressure module, Remote display cable 60M and installation of model 9500 monitor. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with Offerors providing the required product and literature. Therefore, the initial offer should contain the Offeror?s best terms from a technical and price standpoint. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334516 and the Size Standard is 500 employees for this requirement. The small business set-aside has been lifted for this requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. Interested vendors capable of furnishing the government with the products in this synopsis should submit two (2) copies of a proposal to the below address. The proposal shall include the business size, itemized price, shipping cost if applicable, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNs), and descriptive literature of the product quoted. The proposal must reference ?Solicitation number? NHLBI-PS-2001-067. Proposals will be due fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this synopsis or September 13, 2001 by 8:30 a.m. local time, whichever is later. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by the agency.
