Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Manufacturing Metrology Division, has a requirement for the manufacture of one (1) 350 mm Collimator and one (1) 355 mm Clear Aperture Bare Glass Test Flat. Both of these items shall be used on the NIST Infrared Interferometer to measure the thickness variation in 300 mm diameter silicon wafers. The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, and equipment to develop, manufacture and deliver the equipment. F.O.B. Destination is NIST, Gaithersburg, MD. This requirement is being procured using simplified acquisition procedures identified in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 and is unrestricted. All responsible offerors may submit a quote. The NAICS for this requirement is 334516 with a size standard of 500 employees. The competitive Request for Quotation (RFQ), required attachments, RFQ amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at http://www.fedbizops.gov/ under RFQ number SB1341-01-Q-1020. The RFQ will be available only via the Internet at the above web site. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the RFQ in order to be considered for award of any resultant purchase order. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no bidders list will be maintained.
