- F41636-01-T-C0078 -- This is an OPEN MARKET, (100% restricted to small business), synopsis for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12 as supplemented with additional information included in the solicitation. The synopsis is issued for quotes (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes/offers will not be considered), for solicitation. This requirement is for: CLINS: 0001 through 0025: IBM RS/6000, 44P, Model 170, and associated hardware, software, and installation service for upgrade, integration and interfacing of Lackland AFB Main, WHMC, and Kelly Branch libraries. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source (Epixtech, Inc, 400 West 5050 North, Provo, UT 84604, CAGE 02LP7), under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interests and capability to respond to the requirement request. Offerors must complete Representations and Certifications if not already on file with this office, and must be registered in the Government Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Program. An official request for quotation (RFQ), or request for proposal (RFP), will be provided to all parties submitting a written request for a copy of the solicitation incidental to this announcement. All interested parties may be submit their offers via Fax, e-mail, or, US Postal System. The Government will consider all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Award will be based on conformance to the conditions of the requirement, evaluation of price, responsibility of offeror, and the overall best value to the Government, in terms of, technical capability, price, delivery, and special features. Quotes must be received no later than 4:00PM (CST), 14 Sep 2001, with acceptance to be valid for 30 days. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
