Description
The General Services Administration intends to issue a contract to The Cumberland Group, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 through Solictation 4TWF21013135. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 90-42. Only one responsible source, The Cumberland Group, Inc., and no other equipment will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement is to provide Programmed Learning Text (PLT) in support of the U.S. Army Recruiting Command's (USAREC) Recruiter Tutor Solution. The proposed contract action is for products for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All proposals received by the close of business, 8/6/2001 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
