Description

The Wayne National Forest anticipates contracting for a Recreation Feasibility Study, which will define its niche in delivering outdoor recreation opportunities in Southeastern Ohio. The Contractor shall review existing data and gather non-existing data on users and uses. The results of the study will demonstrate how programs of different recreation opportunity providers can complement each other. This Request for Quotations will result in a commercial, Advisory and Assistance, services contract. It is anticipated that the solicitation package will be available on approximately August 31, 2001. Electronic solicitation packages may be obtained FREE on the specified date at the following website: http://www.fs.fed.us/r9/contracting/index.html, under solicitation number R9-ORB-01-351. Requests for hard copy solicitation packages must be submitted in writing to: USDA FOREST SERVICE, ATTN: DEBRA HURON, RFQ R9-ORB-01-351, 310 W WISCONSIN AVE STE 580, MILWAUKEE WI 53203. No telephone or fax requests will be accepted. Quotes must be received by September 18, 2001. THIS IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE that is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof.
