Description

The Food and Drug Administration, Center for Food Safety and Nutrition, CFSAN, has a requirement to acquire the servic es of Aiko Ichimura, Washington, DC. to provide his professional expertise to modify and enhance FDA's Electronic Inspection System (EIS) 2000 to accomodate those identified needs which are now preventing potential users of the program from being a ble to use the program. Scope of Work includes the following: making the program network compatible, adding alpha numeric ca pability to the regulation field, providing a "toggle switch" to lock or unlock the ability to edit time of inspection, prov ide a "draft" print ut of an inspection and locking the ability for changes, adding alpha numeric capabilities, making modic ations as required, adding a archiving feature, correction errors, adding a modules as required, adding the ability to impor t graphics and digital photos, ensuring compatibility to Section 508 compliance. The suggested contractor is the only source due to the fact that the system being modified was fully developed by the contra ctor, therefor he is the only source that possesses the knowledge of the program, and the only source capable of developing a complete EIS 2000 Web-Based User's Manual. Therefor, as a result of this announcement no. solicitation will result.
