- Description
- The Court Services & Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA), a new Federal agency, requires transportation-related services on an immediate basis. The Contractor shall provide chauffeur and other Facilities-related services on a daily basis, Monday through Friday, on all Federal Government workdays (2080 hours per year). The Government will provide the Government vehicle(s) for performance of chauffeur services. Chauffeur services will consist primarily of transporting the Director and Deputy Director of CSOSA, or other senior level officials, to and from various meetings and conferences within the District of Columbia metropolitan area. When not performing chauffeur services, the Contractor shall perform other Facilities-related duties including, but not limited to, delivering supplies or personnel to D.C. field offices, performing administrative tasks, maintenance of the vehicles, and assisting with office moves or other building maintenance tasks. The Contractor employee's tour of duty shall be 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, though the schedule may be altered upon advance notification to the Contractor. Should the regular employee be absent from work on any given day, the Contractor shall provide a backup driver so that there is no break in service. The Contractor shall provide advance notice of this arrangement to the Contracting Officer. The Contractor's driver personnel shall have in their possession at all times the required Government-issued driver's/chauffeur's licenses and other appropriate personal or vehicular credentials. They shall obey all posted speed limits, traffic signals, and directional signs in compliance with applicable Federal, State and local laws. The Contractor's employees assigned to work under this contract shall be trained, fully qualified, neatly dressed, free from any communicable disease, drug-free, and physically able to perform the assigned work. They must be able to receive a security clearance as required by this contract. Contractor shall provide insurance for its personnel. The estimated Period of Performance for this contract is October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002, with four one-year options.
