Description

This is a combined Synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format included in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested no written solicitation will be issued. Only electronic submissions are acceptable. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is DAAE07-01-T-0021. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, dated 17 Mar 1997. The associated North American Industrial code System (NAICS) code is 334510. The U.S. Army TACOM requirement is 100 watt air-cooled C02 laser engraving system, super speed. This is for the US Army TACOM, AMSTA-TR-D, Warren, MI 48397-5000. FOB Destination will apply. Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers; i) technical capability to meet the Government requirement and ii) price. The Government reserves the right to award to other than the low bidder. Offerors are advised to include a complete copy of the Provision 52-212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. This acquisition is rated DOA4. Offers are due no later than 1:00 p.m., 10 Sep 01. Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
