Description

This synopsis modifies the original combined synopsis solicitation of 30 August 2001. Line Items 0001 through 0010 are hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following Line Items, quantities, and descriptions. The following equipment will be procured for three (3) MSC ships, USNS CATAWBA (T-ATF 168), USNS SIOUX (T-ATF-171), and the USNS NAVAJO (T-ATF 169). Line Item 0001: Quantity 3 each; ARPA C34257XU Console Version, BST-8500; Line Item 0002 Quantity -- 3 each, ARPA C343012SU Console Version, BST-8502; Line Item 0003 Quantity -- 150 meters, Cable Display to MTR (Up or Down), G260642-2; Line Item 0004 Quantity -- 3 each, ECDIS, M28607 MK2 C21; Line Item 0005 -- 3 each, NIMA/DNC Chart Reader, M28407; Line Item 0006 -- 3 each, One in Four Out, Video Amplifier, M28406; Item 0007 Quantity -- 3 each, LIKA, MX412 dGPS w/ 200PPNM output; Line Item 0008 Quantity -- 3 each, Flat Panel Display (Type Approved), M28999; Line Item 0009 -- 3 each, Flat Panel Display Bracket, M28999A; Line Item 0010 1 Lot, Shipping, Mode of shipping shall provide MSC with internet base capability to track shipment 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. NOTE: Equipment will be installed during the USNS CATAWBA'S and the USNS SIOUX's Mid Term Availability period of 24 September 2001 to 24 October 2001. Therefore, equipment for the USNS CATAWBA and USNS SIOUX must be delivered FOB Destination no later than 24 September 2001. Delivery of equipment for the USNS NAVAJO shall be delivered FOB Destination no later than 1 May 2002.
