Description

The Department of Justice is seeking a detailed cost proposal to supply 87 various electric light fixtures and lamps for installation by others in the Library of the Main Justice Building in Washington, DC. Specific lighting products are required to match those already in place. A bid package detailing the specifications and quantities of the fixtures and lamps required is available upon request. In order to request a bid package please provide your mailing address via fax to Ms. Pam Rhame, Contracting Officer's Technical Representative, at 202-307-1915 by no later than noon on September 13, 2001. Proposals must be submitted by the close of business on October 2, 2001; the anticipated award date is on or about October 9, 2001. The contractor selected will be expected to order the fixtures immediately. Delivery must be to the Department of Justice, c/o Charlie Alvarez, Main Justice Building Room B-230, 950 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20530, by no later than the close of business on January 15, 2002. Partial shipments may be accepted with advance approval of the Contracting Officer. Award under this solicitation is set aside for small business as described by FAR 52.219-6; the successful bidder may be required to provide documentation confirming eligibility as a small business concern. However, all interested parties are encouraged to submit proposals to be considered in the event that no small business concerns are responsive to this solicitation. ****
