Description

The US Dept of Veterans Affairs, Great Lakes Acquisition Center is planning to negotiate a sole source contract with Computerized Medical Systems Inc for Assurance 2.0 engineering hardware/software support for the FOCUS Treatment Planning System located in the Radiation Oncology Dept. at the Hines VA Hospital, Hines, IL. This is considered to be a sole source because equipment and software must be able interface with the existing FOCUS system. The currant system is manufactured by Computerized Medical Systems and is the only one that can furnish the needed software. This system is essential to render faster Radiation Therapy to veterans at the Hines VA Hospital.
