Description

This is a 100 percent small business set-aside, Note 1 applies. Provide On-Call Standby Nursing Services at the Overton Brooks VAMC, Shreveport, Louisiana 71101, to fill requirements on an as needed basis. Staff requirements shall be to cover over three (3) shifts, up to six (6) personnel per shift on a standby basis seven (7) days per week including holidays. The staffing mix will be composed of any combination of Registered Nurses (RN) , Critical Care RN, Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), or any one of these same levels of staff for three tours of duty per day, seven days per week, as needed. The tours of duty are Nights (12:00mn -- 8:00am), Days (7:30am -- 4:00pm), and Evenings (4:00pm -- 12:00mn) on the general medical/surgical wards, and 6:45am to 7:15pm or 7:00pm to 7:00am in critical care.. The VAMC may request a varying mix of staff per shift as needed. This contract will be for a period of (1) one year from the date of award.
