Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for supplemental medical services for the Federal Medical Center located in Rochester, Minnesota, and the Federal Correctional Institution, Waseca, Minnesota. Qualified offerors must be able to provide Inpatient and Outpatient, Facility Services, Including related physician services. All services must be completed within 50 miles of the FMC and 60 miles of the FCI. The solicitation also requests Outpatient Insitution related Physician Services. The Bureau estimates the amount of inpatient admisions to be between 35 -- 400 admissions per contract period. With 95% of the admissions coming form the Federal Medical Center, Rochester, Minnesota. The Government intends to award a base period with 4 additional option periods. THe government estimate the inpatient admissions to reamin relatively constant for the duration of the contract. Outpatient encounters are estimated at approxiamately 500 -- 600 encounters per contract period. Penal institution security requirements apply.
